       Why Improv?

"Spontaneity and improvisational ability are the skills required to be cast in commercials today, says Doug Kesten, a commercial agent. "You have to be able to own a room, have things to talk about, be a storyteller, and not need to be spoon-fed direction"   "Backstage"

Improvisation is now being used as an audition tool in casting not only stage actors but also Commercial and Television Actors. We emphasize the importance of this skill, not only for students interested in acting; but also students of life.
