Wendy graduated from New York Academy of Theatrical Arts in New York City. She studied at H.B. (Herbert Berghof) Studios with Bill Hickey & improvisation with Marty Friedberg at “The Improv” in NYC. Wendy worked with two improvisational groups. “Just for Fun” & “Group Creativity” under the direction of David Sheppard, she performed and taught improvisational “Theater games” for the "Improv Olympix" a nationally know Improv group.
She performs in musicals & plays. She studied voice under Julie DeJohn of "The DeJohn Sisters" & Joyce Lynn from The NYC Opera.
As Director: Wendy’s experience includes 20 years of acting and improvisation. She's directed local theatre, school plays, Church productions and Talent Shows for more than 12 years. Her commercial credits include "Ray-Ban", “Covenant House” and “March of Dimes”. She played a “Flight Attendant” in “Taking Chance” an HBO film and a Juror in “Law & Order”. Her talents keep her employed as an actor and enables her to bring a unique knowledge & experience to her students. She also teaches private acting and voice.
